5th AJCCA Board Meeting Concludes with Significant Progress.

Siem Reap, Cambodia - The 5th AJCCA Board Meeting convened from May 20-22, 2024, at the Angkor Miracle Resort & Spa, marking a pivotal moment for the organization. Attended by board members both physically and virtually, the meeting focused on strategic initiatives crucial to AJCCA's future.

One of the highlights of the meeting was AJCCA's involvement in the ASEAN-Japan Cybersecurity Working Group Meeting on May 22. Dr. Rudi Lumanto, AJCCA Chairman, presented the "Sharing & Caring Program 2024" and engaged in informative discussions with government representatives. The session also saw interest from several countries in potentially joining AJCCA, underscoring its growing influence and collaborative efforts.

The concluding segment featured a Joint Government-Industry-Academia session, where Japan led discussions on cybersecurity cooperation in the ASEAN and Indo-Pacific regions. The session included insights from NISC Japan, JICA, and the University of Indonesia, highlighting collaborative case studies and AJCCA's strategic plans for 2024.

The event wrapped up with a dinner reception, hosted by Cambodia, featuring opening remarks from Mr. Phannarith Ou and closing remarks from Dr. Rudi Lumanto, emphasizing the fruitful outcomes and strengthened partnerships achieved during the meeting.

This meeting not only reaffirmed AJCCA's commitment to cybersecurity excellence but also set a precedent for future regional collaborations in the field.
