The ASEAN Japan Cybersecurity Community Alliance (AJCCA) witnessed the signing of a pivotal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between CyberSecurity Malaysia and the RawSec Cybersecurity Community at the Cyber DSA conference in Kuala Lumpur. The agreement aims to enhance cybersecurity efforts through collaborative initiatives. The MoU was signed by Dato’ Ts. Dr. Haji Amirudin Abdul Wahab, Chief Executive Officer of CyberSecurity Malaysia, and Tahrizi Tahreb, Chairman of RawSec. The signing ceremony was attended by YBrs. Tuan Fabian Bigar, Secretary General of the Ministry of Digital, and Dr. Rudi Lumanto, Chairman of AJCCA.

Under this MoU, CyberSecurity Malaysia commits to supporting RawSec's community with critical threat intelligence, including indicators of compromise and insights into emerging vulnerabilities. Additionally, CyberSecurity Malaysia will provide access to its pool of cybersecurity experts and consultants, as well as shared resources such as cloud environments for collaborative research and projects. This partnership aims to strengthen the overall cybersecurity posture of both organizations and enhance their capabilities in tackling sophisticated cyber threats.

In return, RawSec will play a crucial role in bolstering cybersecurity education and awareness. The community will organize a series of cybersecurity training sessions, workshops, and webinars, alongside developing certification programs to elevate the skill levels within the cybersecurity field. Furthermore, RawSec will spearhead public awareness campaigns to educate the broader community about cybersecurity risks and safe online practices. To foster innovation and discover new talent, RawSec will also co-host events like hackathons. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in the region's efforts to build a more secure and resilient digital environment.
