To secure the Asia Region’s Digital Infrastructure
(Jakarta, Indonesia, August 7, 2025) – The ASEAN‑Japan Cybersecurity Community Alliance (AJCCA) today calls on their counterparts in government for deeper collaboration and partnership to secure the region’s digital infrastructure and cyber ecosystem, and protect citizens and Critical Information Infrastructure (CII).
During the Joint Government, Industry and Academia Meeting at the 3rd ASEAN Japan Cybersecurity Policy Meeting (AJCPM) in Jakarta organized by the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSNN) of the Indonesian Government, AJCCA Chairman and Co-Founder Dr. Rudi Lumanto highlights that partnerships are the cornerstone of cyber resilience and presented several key initiatives that will drive cyber readiness and resilience across all nations.
“AJCCA strengthens its commitment to our colleagues in government so we can jointly achieve a sustainable, vibrant and resilient ASEAN Japan cybersecurity network. With government, industry and academia working together, we can strategically and collectively prepare our respective cyber ecosystems and CIIs to overcome the persistent attacks of threat actors,” Dr. Rudi said.
He invited AJCPM country representatives to attend the 2nd AJCCA Cybersecurity International Conference happening October 10, 2025 in Tokyo, organized by the Japan Network Security Association (JNSA) on behalf of AJCCA. The theme of the conference is “Securing the Future with AI-Driven Cybersecurity and a Resilient Supply Chain.”
Dr. Rudi also unveiled the 2nd AJCCA Cyber Resilience Awards (ACRA) and requested nominations from delegates. He also presented the most current Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Report that gives advanced warning to countries on identified vulnerabilities.
AJCCA country initiatives and activities were also featured in his presentation and invited attendees to AJCCA supported events such as the CySec happening 15-16 September 2025 in Brunei, Cyber DSA happening 1-2 October 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, and CYDEC happening on 29 November 2025 in Bangkok.
Dr. Rudi also gave a preview of AJCCA 2026 activities such as the Cyber Leadership CISO Regional Survey, and the Operational Technology (OT) Regional Survey.
