AJCCA launches the 2nd AJCCA Cyber Resilience Awards (ACRA )

(Jakarta, Indonesia, August 6, 2025) – Building on the success of the inaugural AJCCA Cyber Resilience Awards (ACRA), which debuted in Singapore on October 17, 2024, the ASEAN‑Japan Cybersecurity Community Alliance (AJCCA) today announces the launch of the second ACRA which will again recognize outstanding contributions to cybersecurity and cyber resilience across Southeast Asia and Japan.

The ACRA 2025 will spotlight individuals whose body of work has significantly advanced cyber resilience between January 2023 and August 2025. Candidates will be judged on the AJCCA’s five cornerstone values: Dynamic Leadership, Resilience, Trustworthiness, Respect, and Collaboration.

“As cyber threats continue to evolve in sophistication and scope, our region must remain committed to building a strong community anchored in trust and collaboration,” said Dr. Rudi Lumanto, Chairman of AJCCA. “The ACRA is not just an award. It is a recognition of leadership and service that strengthens the cyber resilience of our nations.”

Through the ACRA, AJCCA affirms its commitment to a future-ready cybersecurity community built on mutual trust and regional solidarity.

“ACRA is a platform for celebrating those who build bridges in cybersecurity — those who choose to lead with integrity, innovate responsibly, and collaborate across borders,” said Sam Jacoba, ACRA Lead and AJCCA Head of Strategic Communications. “In 2025, we look forward to surfacing more inspiring stories of courage, collaboration, and impact from across ASEAN and Japan.”

Each of the ten AJCCA member communities of practice will select country champions based on demonstrated and validated cybersecurity excellence. The awardees will be invited to attend the 2nd AJCCA Conference in Tokyo University on October 10, 2025.
