Recognizing visionary leadership, technical excellence, and community dedication across the region.
Bangkok, Thailand, October 29, 2026 — The ASEAN Japan Cybersecurity Community Alliance (AJCCA) honored cybersecurity leaders and contributors from across ASEAN and Japan through the AJCCA Cyber Resilience Award (ACRA) 2026, held in Bangkok in conjunction with the 3rd AJCCA Annual Conference.
The recipients were announced during the Annual Conference and formally recognized at the AJCCA Awards Night Dinner, bringing together cybersecurity leaders, professionals, community representatives, and partners from across the region.
In his remarks during the award ceremony, Dr. Rudi Lumanto, Chairman of AJCCA, explained that ACRA is one of AJCCA's important programs and was established to recognize individuals and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to strengthening cybersecurity across ASEAN and Japan.
“Cybersecurity contributions come in many different forms. Some are technical contributions from people working behind the scenes to protect our digital infrastructure and strengthen cybersecurity capabilities. Others demonstrate outstanding leadership by inspiring people, driving initiatives, and creating positive change. And some dedicate their time and energy to building cybersecurity communities, connecting people, sharing knowledge, and helping others grow,” Lumanto said.
He emphasized that all these forms of contribution play an important role in building stronger cybersecurity ecosystems and deserve recognition and appreciation.
According to Rudi, the selection of ACRA recipients was conducted by a dedicated AJCCA Award Committee, whose members include representatives from Japan, Japan Network Security Association (JNSA), as well as representatives from the Philippines, PhCERT.
“I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the committee members for their time, effort, and commitment in reviewing and evaluating the nominations,” Rudi said.
As part of AJCCA's annual tradition, the ACRA recipients are announced during the AJCCA Annual Conference, while the awards are formally presented during the Awards Night Dinner.
“This evening gives us a special opportunity to recognize their achievements, celebrate their contributions, and personally express our appreciation,” Rudi added.
The AJCCA Cyber Resilience Award 2026 was presented to the following distinguished cybersecurity leaders and contributors:
A Special Award was also presented to Asst. Prof. Taninnit Leerapun, M.D., Director of Sriphat Medical Center, Faculty of Medicine, Chiang Mai University, Thailand, in recognition of his contribution.
The ACRA 2026 ceremony highlighted the diversity of people contributing to cybersecurity and cyber resilience across the region—from government officials and cybersecurity professionals to industry leaders, educators, community builders, and experts working in other critical sectors.
Through ACRA, AJCCA seeks not only to recognize individual achievements but also to encourage greater collaboration and knowledge sharing among cybersecurity communities across ASEAN and Japan.
The awards formed part of the 3rd AJCCA Annual Conference, held in Bangkok on October 29, 2026, which brought together cybersecurity stakeholders from ASEAN and Japan to strengthen regional cooperation and advance trusted cybersecurity in an era of rapidly evolving technologies and cyber threats.
By recognizing those who have dedicated their expertise, leadership, and commitment to cybersecurity, AJCCA hopes their achievements will inspire a new generation of professionals and community leaders to contribute to a safer, more resilient, and more trusted digital future across ASEAN and Japan.
